How to Improve Your Egg Quality in 90 Days: 4 Things You Can Do Now
It takes 90 days for your eggs to mature before ovulation, so what you do over the next three months can set you up for success. In fact, you can actually turn back the clock to some extent by giving your body what it needs to restore its reproductive health during this 90 day window.
Here’s what you need to know first about your eggs and their story…
When your mom was pregnant with you, you inherited your lifetime supply of eggs at around 18-22 weeks of gestation. At this point, you had millions of eggs called primordial follicles.
Throughout your life, when you’ve ovulate, only the healthiest of your eggs move forward in the elimination rounds over the course of 3-6 months before being selected for ovulation. During these months, your eggs compete for their chance to join the final group of antral follicles, the eggs ready to be chosen to ovulate at the beginning of your current cycle.
Only the healthiest egg of your antral follicles this cycle will be chosen to ovulate and possibly be your future offspring.
These 3-6 months leading up to ovulation are crucial. Your eggs depend on nutritional support and a healthy environment as they struggle to stay viable and thrive through many challenges.
It’s no coincidence that in my many years as a fertility expert, I’ve seen much higher IVF success rates and much lower miscarriage rates when a woman takes the time to prepare her body for at least 3 months before conception.
Likewise, most women working with me who are trying to conceive naturally share the good news of a positive test within the 3-6 month window after they started using my program.
So, what can you do over 90 days to give your eggs their best shot?
4 Ways to Improve Your Egg Quality in 90 Days:
1.) Eat Fertile Foods
To help your egg quality reach its peak, be sure to focus on foods that contain plenty of protein and healthy fats. Traditional Chinese medical wisdom advises that you eat warm foods, like nourishing soups and stews. Avoid cold and raw foods, like salads, and instead eat more cooked veggies and leafy greens.
Drink a daily cup of bone broth to improve egg quality, repair DNA and build a healthy uterine lining. Bone broth is also excellent for supporting healthy sperm. You can find a recipe here.
Organic cooked cruciferous veggies (i.e. broccoli, cauliflower, kale, brussel sprouts, swiss chard) are essential for supporting the liver’s detox process. Their high fiber content absorbs and cleanses the colon of toxins, helping to minimize your eggs’ exposure to toxins.
Organic nuts are an excellent snack high in both protein and healthy fats. In fact, one Brazil nut per day contains your daily recommended amount of selenium, a crucial nutrient for both male and female fertility.

2.) Reduce Stress and Practice Self-Care!

Take time to rest. To read. To listen to music. To pet your cat. To walk in nature. To talk with loved ones. To contemplate. To daydream. To deal with the emotional baggage that’s stressing you out. To paint. To sing. To splash in a puddle.
To stare at the wall. And don’t feel guilty! Savor every minute of it!

3.) Do Daily Fertility Pressure Point Activation
